Theodore Paul Traube 1935 — 2024 88, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Queen Shoals, West Virginia to the late Ernest and Kathleen Martha Graham Traube. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Joe Roche; sisters, Helen Sutton and Betty Tawney; brother, Alfred "Eddie" Traube. Ted was retired from Union Carbide Corp. He was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church, St. Albans and a graduate of Clay County High School. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving at the end of the Korean War. Cummings 2024 Lakin Coolidge "Peck" Cummings, 98, of Spencer, went to his heavenly home on June 30, 2024. He was born January 29, 1926, on Green Creek in Roane County. He was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Cummings and Una Della Jones Cummings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gatha Romine Cummings; son, Paul; infant daughter, Doris; brother, Gerald; sister, Elsie; infant brother, Elvin; brother-in-law, Kenna Romine; nephews, Danny Cummings and Jerry Romine; and niece, Julie Raines Bays. And Gladys Mae Bailey Pettry. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene R. Pettry, twin daughters, Nikki and Mikki Pettry and a brother, Charles "Eddie" Pettry. Sherman was a 1971 graduate of East Bank High School. While in high school, he worked as a paperboy and also substitute custodian for Kanawha County Schools.
